You will get a warning message stating that you need to activate your account first along with the option to resend the activation link.

From my account panel. The new email address does not become effective and does not replace the old one until you confirm it. You may resend a confirmation email for the new address as many times as you wish or you may cancel your change of email request from my account.

Nothing's simpler. Just login and click invite in the upper right menu. Whenever your invitees register, you'll become pending friends until they confirm your friendship. Remember, you CAN invite friends that have ANY e-mail address. Invitees DO NOT need to have asu.edu or a Gmail email address to become members. This is the only way for non ASU students to become members.

Currently you may search by name & email, screen names (handles), profile information, group names & descriptions. You may use filters to get more relevant results.

Privacy settings. We have worked hard to give you complete control over how other people find you on the site. Let's say you make your age, gender, personal information and location visible only to friends. People who are not your friends and are searching for criteria that would otherwise match yours, won't see you in the search results at all even if you have an unrestricted profile.

You may also make your pic visible to friends only, or if you feel like it, invisible to everyone.

If you simply click on browse, you'll get random people. By using the filters on the right side, you can find people that match certain criteria or you can just simply reshuffle the members by clicking the reshuffle button! In the browse view you will see a small asterisk next to the members that are currently your friends.

Click on the "be friends" option whenever you see it in a profile. A request will be sent to that person and he/she will have to confirm your friendship. While your friendhip is pending you have the ability to cancel your friendhip request. Pending friendhips are indicated by red pic borders and by a red letter "P".

There are 2 ways to view your friends: By clicking on My Friends in the My Connections dropdown on the menu system or by viewing them from your profile page.

You have three options (in your privacy panel):

• visible to everyone - anyone can see your friends
• visible to friends - only your friends can see your other friends and see you as a friend on other people's pages.
• invisibile - nobody can see your friends or see you as a friend on anybody else's page except for individual friends who may see only themselves in your friend list while only you may see yourself in theirs.

Red borders or the red P mean that the friendship is pending. A friendship becomes permanent only when aknowledged by both parties.

No. That's displayed only on your page.

The buzz is our real time chat system. You can chat in the lobby for all to see, or you can PRIVATE chat with a selected member.

It's easy as pie! Just click on the buzz it! button on anyones profile page, or if you are buzzing from the lobby, click on the [Private] button next to the buzz you want to go private with. A small box will pop up asking you if you want to make the chat private. Select yes and you will be taken to your Private chat page which lists all the private chats you have in session. Once your private chat is accepted, just click on the persons screen name and the chat continues...this time without prying eyes!

Exactly that: a comment worth 2 cents that you may post on your page or on someone else's page. You may choose who's allowed to post and you may allow private comments which are seen only by you and the person who posted them. To select who can post what, please go to your my privacy panel.

You may delete any comment at any time as you see fit.

On your page you will see an edit my profile photo button that allows you to upload your photo. If the size requirements and file type are correct, after the loading bar disappears you'll see the resized photo on your page. Make it a good one!

Just select My Photos from the My Media drop down in your menu. Then click on new album to create a new photo album.

Exactly like you use your photo albums. Just select My Video Lockers from the My Media drop down in your menu. Then click on new video locker.

Nothing could be less complicated! Just watch the video and then click on the rating stars above the video screen.

There are two types of groups: open and closed. You'll become a member of an open group as soon as you join it. In a closed group you'll have to wait for administrative approval. While you wait, you will see your membership as pending in your groups list.

One hundred sounds like a very round number.

You may change your group name only while you are the only member. Once more people join your group the name becomes uneditable.

Groups are deleted automatically whenever they become empty. If you insist on deleting your group, you may delete all members and then leave the group although that would be quite difficult if your group has 10000 members!

Only other admins (seen on the right side of the group page) may extend administrative privileges, so you have to bribe them generously ...

You can turn any blah topic into a poll with up to five choices (2 minimum). After you post it, other people may vote as well as post comments.

You may delete a topic only if it has no replies.

Go to my privacy and select the level of desired visibility for most of the items on your page.

You are the only one who sees your own profile, wherever it appears on the site, in its entirety. Other people see only what you let them to see as you determine, using your privacy panel.

On their profile page you'll see the option under their pic. You may not block your friends. Still, if you decide that a friend deserves to be blocked you must first end the friendship and then apply the block. You may see a list with all the blocked people in your privacy panel.

Blocking someone minimizes that person's chance of interacting with you. Blocked people won't be able to see your profile and won't see you in search results.

Reporting a user, image, video, group or event notifies the administrators of asuistalking.com. Once a report has been filed the admin can suspend the user or ban the user for life. If it is an image, group or event that has been reported, the admin can delete the reported item and contact the member that uploaded/posted it. All reports are kept on file at our home office.

Above all else, respect others. Address issues and refrain from making personal attacks. If you see something disrespectful or inappropriate, report it - rather than further inflaming the situation.

Harassment and/or intimidation of others on asuistalking.com will not be tolerated, and patterns of such behavior will result in account cancelation.

asuistalking.com is a place where you are encouraged to share ideas, make connections and discover new friends. You can even use your space to stay in contact with family and friends while your away! But only if you invite them...no snoops allowed!
